Terry W. Yates
A lifelong Texan, graduate of The University of Texas, and a board-certified criminal defense attorney. During his 30 years of experience as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney, Terry ranks among the top criminal defense lawyers in America. Texas Monthly recognizes Terry as a Texas Super Lawyer, a designation given only to the top attorneys in Texas. Terry and his cases have received national and international media coverage. Terry has appeared on ESPN, 48 Hours and Fox news networks concerning his cases and as a commentator on other legal issues.

Yates since 2005 Bar Registry of Preeminent Lawyers, an honor “limited to only the most distinguished law practices; those that have achieved the AV rating. Rachel M. Perez
Rachel was born and raised in Magnolia, Texas, where she graduated at the top of her class from Magnolia High School. She completed her undergraduate education at The University of Houston Downtown majoring in criminal justice and psychology.
In 2019, Rachel graduated from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she finished in the top 10% of her class. Her legal career began in 2012, working for Terry Yates as a paralegal throughout undergrad and law school.
Rachel enjoys the practice of criminal law and works well to communicate with clients to help resolve disputes. Her experience combined with her attention to detail and dedication are great attributes to the firm and her ability to assist our clients
